Mesotherapy is used to treat the following pathologies:
- Cellulite or (PEFS)
- Lymphatic-Venous Insufficiency
- Localized Fat Deposits
Mesotherapy an intradermic injection of an active medication as standardised by the European pharmacopeia, in order to maintain a consistent quality.
The medications to be injected will vary according to the type of pathology being treated. A small amount is injected via very thin needles into the dermal surface of the skin and no deeper. The purpose being to assist in the elimination of excess liquids, to de-intoxicate the body and improve the skin’s tone and general elasticity.
Since the absorption of the medication is quite slow, a normal deposit will take over a period of more than 12 hours to become completely absorbed.
A usual Mesotherapy cycle will consist of 8-15 weekly visits followed by monthly maintenance visits in order to stabilize the results obtained. These treatment cycles can be combined with Lymph Drainage and Laser Treatments if also required.
